First stint in Government of India - worked in Ministries of Food, Food Processing, Commerce and Urban Development .Worked in a World Bank Programme in New Delhi in the Water Supply and Sanitation sector with focus on urban sector.Back in the State, worked in the Environment Sector for over five years - as Member Secretary of State Pollution Control Board and later as Environment Secretary.Familiar with Urban Environment Management issues. Second stint in Government of India - Worked in the Ministries of Home Affairs and Water Resources as Joint Secretary, Member in National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) and as Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission.
Participated in National and International seminars in Water Supply, Sanitation and environment related matters and presented papers. Author of many articles on issues on water resources and environment. Nominated as country expert under UNCAC
