Rangan Varadan

Rangan holds a Doctorate degree in Finance from Lehigh University, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. He is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Graduate of Cost & Works Accountants of India. His experience in the financial services domain is extensive, and encompasses the areas of securities trading, investment management, risk management, and economic modeling.

Rangan headed the Banking & Capital Markets domain consulting group at Infosys.

K Thiagarajan

COO, Agastya International Foundation

Mr. Thiagarajan heads the operations of Agastya International Foundation, a non-profit which runs world's largest hands-on science education program serving the education needs of economically backward school children. Besides operations, he is involved with scaling, policy, funding, and development of products/services for the foundation.

A Chemical Engineer from IIT, Madras he holds an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad and has spent 33 years working in corporate sector serving diverse sectors such as Engineering, IT, ITes & Infrastructure as President, MD & CEO before moving to the social sector at Agastya. He has lectured in leading Business Schools including the ISB, IIMs in India and Global schools such as London Business School and Kellogg in Nothwestern. He is well travelled and has a wide range of interests in Sports and traditional Indian music.

N Kothari

ED Vigilance, SAIL

After doing his Engineering he has joined SAIL, Durgapur Steel Plant in 1978 where he worked in Steel Melting Shop & Continuous Casting Shop and then Business Planning. He was promoted and posted as General Manager (Vigilance) & ACVO at Bhilai Steel Plant, Bhilai (2005-2009).  During this period he has initiated lot of System Improvement Projects in connection with Transparency, PCP, Contract, SBD, Simplification/modification of Rules, Procedure, Policy etc.  He was promoted as Executive Director (Coal Import Group) at Corporate Office & then posted in Chairman Sectt.  for coordinating various activities of Company like Operations, Modernisation & Expansion, HR, R&D etc.   Since 1st January 2012 he is Executive Director (Vigilance) at Corporate Office.

Pankaj Gautam

CEO, Bhilai Steel Plant

Pankaj Gautam is an accomplished technocrat in the domain of Steel Making with about four decades of experience in different capacities and units of the Maharatna company, SAIL . Mr Gautam is a graduate in Electrical Engineering from Government Engineering College, Raipur. He also has a degree in Industrial Engineering and PG Diploma in Business Management. In July 2011, Shri Gautam   took charge as the first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bhilai Steel Plant . As head of the flagship unit of SAIL his focus has been  optimizing production from existing facilities, taking  up maintenance activities in the Plant on a large and  enhancing  production of special  and value added steel.

Chandrakant Singh

Chairman & co-founder, Chaitanya Gurukul

Mr Chandrakant Singh is the Chairman and Co-Founder of Chaitanya Gurukul Trust and Head Learning and Development at PurpleLeap. The Trust is trying to provide world class education from one of the remotest locations in Bihar to all. It imparts free education to the poorest and most deprived sections of society, despite being located in a place where even electricity has not reached. Mr Singh wants to float a company which will be doing Research and Development in the area of Affordable Education, Renewable Energy (Solar and Bio-Mass) and Agriculture & Food Procession Instrumentation in order to benefit even the lowest strata of society.

In a career spanning 40 years, He has served in Tamil Nadu and at New Delhi (Govt. of India) in many important positions. He is an Independent External Monitor under the Transparency International -sponsored Integrity Pact in SAIL and Chennai Petroleum.
